Abstract

The communication of research results to society is one of the core tasks of the institute as laid down in its statutes and has become central to the work of research institutions such as HAIT today. One way of fulfilling this task, which is used intensively by all scientists at the institute, is to organise and participate in events, above all, the HAIT Colloquium. Furthermore, there are workshops and conferences, book presentations, and panel discussions – here in the annual report, selected events are retrospectively focused on. In addition to the HAIT blog "Denken ohne Geländer", which is firmly established in its fourth year of existence, media appearances remain another important form of knowledge transfer.
